If your viewers frequently violate the platform’s TOS and they leave inappropriate comments in the chat log, they will be putting your channel at risk of a crackdown by Twitch. This is in a bid to confirm if they are in violation of any of the platform’s Terms of Service (TOS) and take appropriate punitive action. To do this, you will have to visit the chat logs of your users and review their comments regularly.

I propose the Dashboard should have an option for the Broadcaster and Channel Editors or a "Mod Supervisor" role to Search an audit history of recent moderator actions on a channel and Filter by Moderator or by Action such as /clear, settings changes /subscribersonly, /slowmode, /followers, /emoteonly, Autmod settings changes, Details of Created/Deleted Polls, Timeouts, Untimeouts, Actions on the Channel Points Queue, Pausing a redemption category, Individual message text deletion, etc.Twitch chat is a vital aspect of the Twitch experience as it enables streamers to interact with their followers in unique ways that go beyond plain entertainment. I suggest at the very least the actions made by a moderator should appear in line with all their chat messages and be included with that user's Chat log history when you click the User and show that moderator's chat messages.

These are moderator actions that should be auditable: such as turning on Slowmode or Subscribersonly, or Pausing a channel points redemption category, or Marking a redemption as Completed or Rejected.Ĭurrently there seems no way to figure out for sure who was responsible for the change: if a moderator makes these changes when the streamer is offline and not connected to chat, Or if the information has scrolled off screen, And none of the channel's moderators will admit to making a change against the broadcaster's wishes (whether accidentally or intentionally).

The broadcaster should be able to see who made changes to their channel, even if they did not have their Twitch chat or mod view open when the action was taken.
